FAQs

Find answers to all the most important questions about RunFest 2025. If we're missing something you'd like to know, please email sussexrunfest@gmail.com or message us on Instagram.

Who is RunFest for?

Plus icon

The programme includes runs, classes and talks suitable for all kinds of runners – from those chasing a new personal best to those just getting started.

Where is it?

Plus icon

The Hop Sun Taproom (Triangle Road, Haywards Heath, RH16 4HW - Google Maps) is the hub venue. Other local venues, such as The Movement yoga studio, will also host events and activities. Check each event's description for its location.

What does my ticket include?

Plus icon

A Sussex RunFest pass includes access to our runs, classes, talks, and workshops.

To make sure they're as good as we want them to be, some events will have capacity limits—for example, to make sure a trainer can spend enough time supporting each person in their class.

There will be a simple booking system and we're putting on a good number and range of sessions so everyone can get their fill!

Do I need to be there all weekend?

Plus icon

We expect some RunFesters will be there for everything, while others will dip in and out according to their interests or other commitments. Either is fine!

Can I buy tickets on the day?

Plus icon

We don't plan to offer on-the-day tickets, since we want to match the class and activity schedule to the number of RunFesters so that everyone has the best possible experience!

Can children come to RunFest?

Plus icon

While RunFest tickets are for adults, our guests are welcome to bring children along. They'll be able to spectate or join in with certain events – we'll confirm which once the schedule is finalised.

Where's the schedule?

Plus icon

The full schedule will go live nearer the event. Until then, you can plan for an awesome weekend with some fun events on Friday night, a packed Saturday and a gentler-paced Sunday. See the Line-up page.

Is RunFest a charity event?

Plus icon

Your ticket price helps us to cover the key things needed for RunFest: first aiders, live music, equipment hire, insurance, volunteer expenses, on-site signage, this website, and more. We're hoping to cover all our costs and if we do, a portion of the proceeds will go to relevant (running/wellbeing-related) good causes.

Where can I park?

Plus icon

The Franklynn Road public car park is just around the corner. There’s also limited on-street parking west and east of the Hop Sun.

Where can I stay (and is there camping)?

Plus icon

Premier Inn Haywards Heath on Perrymount Road is the closest hotel. It’s right by the train station. RunFest isn't a camping festival (at least not yet!)

Where can I eat and drink?

Plus icon

Our hub venue, The Hop Sun Taproom, serves a fantastic range of drinks, including beers brewed on-site. They also offer hot dogs and snacks. Check out their website.
